Pickleball

An official USA Pickleball Ambassador,  will be teaching and coaching anyone who wishes to learn more or actively participate in this rapidly growing sport!  Pickleball is played on a smaller tennis sized court.

What is pickleball?  Pickleball is an exciting, rapidly growing game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered 34 inches at the center.  It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a wiffle ball) and a wooden or composite paddle that looks similar to the paddle used with paddleball.  It is easy enough for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, non-stop, competitive game for experienced players.

Activities Director

Our Activities Director is responsible for making your day’s possibilities endless. From November through March the Torrey Oaks activities never stop.  Be careful, you may have to go home to rest from your vacation.
